Meriem Benziane is a communications strategist with a demonstrated experience in reputation and issues management, thought leadership, stakeholder management, public and media relations and CSR. Meriem started her career as a communicator at GE (General Electric) in 2013 within the Communications Leadership Development program, a rotational based program focusing on accelerating the development of potential public relations talent. In 2015, Meriem led internal and external communications for GE Global Growth Organization in Algeria, before covering the whole North African region in 2016. Her work has positioned GE as a local and strategic partner to the region and a trusted partner to its customer. In 2019, she was appointed as the Communications Director for GE Healthcare in Africa, before leaving the company for new challenges. Meriem is an active supporter of youth and female in STEM, she led GE Women in Technology program for Middle East and North Africa, was a member of the board of directors for Injaz El Djazair, and she continues to support youth through mentoring and trainings.
