Deena Gergis

Deena Gergis is an award-winning AI expert whose ultimate purpose is to offer a better quality of life to people using AI. During the first half of her career in academia and research, Deena researched Machine Learning algorithms to diagnose and treat various types of cancer. And during the second half of her career in industry, Deena has successfully helped multiple German and multi-national companies to apply Machine Learning to develop cutting-edge products in a wide variety of verticals including sales, marketing, pricing, finance and industry 4.0.
Deena has a Masters degree in Life Science Informatics from the University of Bonn in Germany and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Ainshams University in Egypt.
Deena is currently a Lead Data Scientist at Bayer. In her current role, she combines the best from academia and industry to develop AI products that will ultimately help people live a healthier life.
